Extremely unprofessional doctors and staff. I got an appointment to see Dr Anwar (the gastroenterologist) at 5 pm and have been waiting for over an hour and apparently there is still one more patient before me. The doctor showed up an hour late on the pretext of some personal emergency and the staff did not have the etiquette to call patients and move appointments accordingly. Extremely unprofessioanl as the hospital views sickness and patients as some money making enterprise and lack empathy for the state the patients are in. I will never book an appointment at this hospital again.

I am a doctor and I applied for job in this hospital as an advertisement was given for doctor's jobs

I am a doctor and I applied for job in this hospital as an advertisement was given for doctor's jobs empty vacancy.. Last date to apply was 31st January, but they start hiring people before that date. Due to this fact, I happened to call them to see that whether any seat regarding my specialization ,which is ICU, is present. They told me that only one seat is vacant. I travelled from GUJRANWALA to Islamabad, 500km for interview. On date and time of my interview, no ICU specialist was present and and a doctor of Emergency Medicine took my interview, asking questions not related to my field. After viva another doctor sahab said," Doctor sahiba, ap ghar jain. Jab hamaraye specialist ayen gaye, we will call you aur ap aa mar interview daye dana".. Means they had no regard that I had to travel 500km for this interview.. Next day , I begged them to ask consultant to take my interview as I have come from so far. HR Department replied, " Doctors sahiba, we have stopped all the interviews. Interview Process has been frozen. We have your CV .jab bhi koi ICU ki job aye gi, we will tell you" Latter on ,upon doing further investigation it revealed that their Cheif Consultant is also giving Anesthesia to another big hospital setup of Islamabad..So how can he find time for Medical Officer interview? So every one , who is going to undergo surgery there or going to get interview for job, this setup has no value of their own words. Patients around me were complaining about extremely high charges and I want to tell them at least from Anesthesia and ICU point of view, they don't even know what kind of sub standard care they are getting.. Definitely a sub standard set up

Good place. The doctors are nice and so is the rest of the staff. Though, the place isn't free from the plague of doctors arriving late. But barring that, it is a great hospital and totally worth the relatively expensive fees.

Staff are really professional & helpful! The only thing is they need to avoid putting their phone on Auto Answer Mode . Kindly mention the time line in auto email response so that the client knows their expected dates of appointment, unclear autoreply on call or emails are frustrating at times. 24/7 call centre would be great for more professional services which Maroof Hospital can look into! Or at least call should be answered during office timing!
