Shaheed Baba Tara Singh Ji was a great warrior Saint , living at Wan village. Who fought with Mughal Empire.Baba ji belong to farmer Jatt biradari named Buttar . Mostly habitants are BUTTAR in this village . Their are about 14th village,s in all Punjab State named as Buttar. Baba ji,s elders served with Baba Deep Singh ji . Every year Maaghi Mela celebration is held around 13th January each year. The villagers living out of state & abroad , come here to pay their respects & worship the village diaity . Village is named after Baba ji as WAN BABA TARA SINGH SHAHEED . Now under Taran Taren district , sub tahsil Bhikhi wind .
