Downside, as most of Pakistan, no pavement, road could be in better condition, zebra crossing would be helpful, aswell as public dustbins. Traffic lights would also be helpful. Inshalah

Shandar Chowk (Road Crossing) is the main and major chowk in Jehlum. It is the crossing point of railway road and Jada road. In fact it is the old G.T. (Grand Trunk) Road passing through the city of Jehlum. Not far off, (Couple of decades ago), the G. T. Road (jarneeli sarak) passed through this Shandar Chowk and then used the old railway bridge on the river jehlum for a journey onward. This chowk was and still is an important road crossing in the city of Jehlum. It is surrounded by shops on all the 4 sides. One side is completely occupied by money changers. To summarize, though G. T. Road has shifted after the construction of new road bridge at the river, shandar chowk still holds its importance and fervour, as before.
