National Institute adjacent to Loke Virsa on shakerparian Road. The road is single but no crowed road is fine smooth and zigzag. Best weather specially after evening and night. But ve aware about animals inside the jungle which is situated at the both sides of the road.

Lok Virsa Museum (Urdu: لوک ورثہ عجائب گھر), also known as the National Institute of Folk & Traditional Heritage, is a museum of history, art and culture in Islamabad, Pakistan, located on the Shakarparian Hills. The museum opened in 1974 and became an autonomous institute in 2002 following the Lok Virsa Legal Status Ordinance, 2002.The museum consists of several buildings as well as an outdoor museum which can accommodate up to 3000 visitors.

A beautiful place to see the traditional colors of Pakistan. It's museum is fantastic. Food court is also good one. Time to time festivals are arranged here for public in which different cultures can be seen. There are full time shops having traditional items. It also has a cultural study center. Good place to visit in Islamabad.
