The place brings back childhood memories of food, taste and smells. Moula Bakish was pioneer of "high-end" eatery in the city. It was luxurious treat to have lunch whenever we visited city from our neighbouring village. I saw this place fully packed in 70s and 80s with waiters running around frantically and shouting the orders back and forth. At some point, the owners constructed new building and old design was lost forever. I am not sure if the restaurant is still with Moula Bakish's family or they sold it out? I will try to visit when in Dera Ghazi Khan next time.
