Chitral Gol National Park is a Conservation Sanctuary overlooking Chitral Towm. The road is a dirt track that would take anything in excess of 50 mins in a 4X4 Vehicle. The place has a Forest Rest House but visitors have to bring food items from the town below themselves. The park offers breathtaking views of chitral Town and the Markhors in the Park area below.

The road is quite bumpy so be prepared for a difficult journey. We were told that the Markhors come down around 4 pm for water, however we were only able to spot them from afar. The road is quite narrow so it’s important to make the trip with an expert driver. Preferred vehicle: 4by4 or a bike
