It is an Excellent place situated at the heart of the city. The main Government buildings are just a walk away from this residence. The rooms are spacious. However, the rates of the rooms are high as compared to Officers mess elsewhere. The security arrangements are very good.

Basically this is the centre of recreation of the bureaucrates while some top guns also live here with their families. The sitting Chief Secretary is the Chairman of COM while Secretary Administration serves as secretary of the mess. Some times govt also uses this place for some important press conferences and other official activitiea.
