Fancy Aquarium City – Karachi

It's a small, badly lit, dingy store with very minimal selection for the serious hobbyists. It's also ridiculously expensive to buy fish here and they're not even guatanteed to be quarantined or aquarium safe. Do not let the 4.5 star rating fool you. If you're serious about fish keeping and the hobby and you actually have to work to make your money do not go here to blow it. It's Rs.10,000 for a ghost knife fish and Rs. 7500 for one alligator gar. I was also recommended an angelfish for my 6 gallon desktop aquarium (not bought here) which shows how little knowledge the workers here have.

They've got every fish/aquarium related that you might need, plus the owner Zafar saab is an extremely informative and nice person.

I was a bit disappointed after visiting the place. No doubt the owner is very experienced and has in-depth knowledge about the fish and marine life but the only thing got me disappointed was the price it was extraordinarily high. The prices of the fish has to be realistic and they should ensure that the prices to remain economic.

It is a good place for aquarium lovers. People who love to keep sea life in their homes for decorating and beautifying. Not very expensive. People should visit this for an interesting collection.

Wide range of fish and aquarium are available in varying sizes and price range. Though the shop is a but congested due to the number of aquariums displayed in the shop. Cooperative and well informed sales staff. No parking issue as well
