Hazara University, situated on the outskirts of Khyber Pakhtunkwa is a public sector research university which was founded in 2001.The University is overlooking the silk route at is situated the junction of ancient civilization Ashoka and Gandhara. The primary goal of the Hazara University is to deliver premium education in the emerging fields and already established fields. A fleet of transport vehicles ply between campus and different spots in the city. The transportation facility is a blessing for the students as they don’t have to depend on the public transport. Hostel facilities are available to students from other cities, districts and provinces. On campus residence is provided to the faculty members.

Hazara University is ranked No.28 in national and No.7 provincial level as per HEC rankings, 2015. The different programs offered by the university are including BS / BBA, MA / M.Sc, M.Phil / MS and PhD.

Good to know they have a university in their area.... i hope they are producing very competent graduates....

Public university with great natural environment. Special library and have many grounds of different sports. With the help of current VC, it is very developed in IT and security. We ignoring that here is only 1 hostel of boys 🙂 60% or 65% boys are in externals which made the business of locals.

I visit HU after along time. Lots of things has been done by Administration. The cute boy is my nephew Fiasal Afghan.

My alma mater. A place I could never take off my mind. Been there for four long years between 2010-2014 to pursue BS in biochemistry.
