This mosque belongs to Deobandi school of thought. A well-known scholar and professor Hifiz Tariq Mehmood is Imam of the mosque. He also teaches The Holy Quran to the students of madrassa adjacent to the mosque. He has a lot of devotees. The Alkhair Mosque is filled with the Namazees especially during Ramazan in summer due to the facility of air conditioners. A very peaceful mosque. The management takes much care of the mosque and keeps it neat and clean.
