Orchid (kachnar) Park کچنار پارک islamabad

One of the main parks in Islamabad, in the top 3 area wise. Decent jogging/running track spanning almost 1km one side. Only downside is it being right next to the Islamabad Highway, which understandably is always busy. Could do with a realigned parking area (the ramps are car breakers!) and a smoother jogging track.

It is a green park built just outside I-8 sector on the highway. It's good for having a jog or an evening stroll. Lots of trees and atmosphere is good. butt you have to discount the thing that you are on a highway and there is a constant buzz of vehicles and smoke etc

This park is located on Express highway in sector I 8. It is ideal place for jogging and tracking .People usually visit at evening and morning time.There are some free coaches available yoga classes. There is lush green fields and beautiful orchids trees . Exact location is very near to Faizabad interchange.

Beautiful place for work out, long walks, jogging, getting fresh air with family or friends. Nice track. Natural beauty with lots of greenrey and old trees. Give best view in morning at sunrise and evening at sunset. Nice children play area. Most of the newly Weds bride and groom came here for photoshoots...

Best place for walking, jogging and cycling. The tracks with lovely trees all around you will make your day. Kachnar Park, located in between the sector I-8 and the Islamabad highway, stretches over almost 1.5 km. The park has 2 tracks for jogging and cycling. It also has an outdoor gymnastics facility. Recently, a group of active citizens who call themselves 'Friends of Kachnar Park' are sending a powerful message to the community by cleaning and renovating the park along with city administration. This initiative has turned the park ever more beautiful and attract many visitors

It's an excellent park, with walking tracks, exercise places and a lush green park. Plenty of trees where you can walk in shades. Different kind of birds and squirrels are moving around. It's also getting popular for photography. Daily multiple newly wed couples comes with photographers for shooting in this scenic place.

Kachnar Park located alongside main road and beautiful houses offers a wonderful ambience. Jogging and cycling track are fantastic. Though you may not classify it equivalent to Fatima Jinnah Park, but it is much better than competitive parks in the vicinity. Note that tuck shops are rare! Bring your own water or food. Track Approximate Length= 2000m or 2km.

A very good park however needs to be cleaned more often

Beautiful park having Separate walk and bicycle lanes. This park is named Kachnar because plenty of Kachnar trees are here. Park is surrounded by beautiful trees. You may see squirrels in park eating and playing. It is family park and safe for walk. Also it is famous for models and bridal photoshoots. Must visit place.
