Excellent experience overall in the retreat rest house (ex-Chief Secretary's rest house). The staff

Excellent experience overall in the retreat rest house (ex-Chief Secretary's rest house). The staff was very welcoming, especially Mehtab and Rashid. We stayed three nights and had pleasant stay overall, even though the rooms were quiet cold at night but the quilts were very warm for a good night sleep. We were provided with two electric heaters (mini ones) which barely provided any heat but the water was 24/7 very hot. Kids played at the open ground as the snow was melting, while the breakfast was served in the open garden. For lunch or dinner, the order had to be placed two hours before so better have snacks/goodies in your bags packed or get your own food takeaway. The retreat house is perfectly located away from the noise/traffic, and is conveniently placed near the kids play ground (zipline is a MUST try, and ofcourse horse riding). Overall 5/5.
