Police department is always non courteous and services are offered in a manner that a citizen is always feel uncomfort to visit. However traffic police is somehow better then punjab police

In the name of Allah. My first visit for driving license went in vain because they would serve only if appointment is taken by phone or rasta app. Though very few people were present early morning, staff refused to serve the token. The second visit after appointment was also not successful as the staff told that internet is not working. From 8 to 10 am there was big crowd waiting outside. Then the staff announced that internet is not working, "Who wants to leave he can go and who wants to wait he can wait." I waited for sometime. People despersed in disappointment. A boy said he is coming for three days but internet has yet not been restored. The post office crew in outside cabin asked people to take appointments at manawa or nolakha centres. Many who come first time don't know that prior appointment is a must. They call the pasted number for appointment but no operator talks before 9am.

Wen there for license renewal. Reached at 745. Crowded. Office opened 10 past 8. Token were distributed decently. Not fully orderly. Most of the people were there for learning license so the line was small for renewals. I already had my post office tickets. Note you have to wait outside as no AC or covered waiting area. Once inside, the process was smooth. You pay 180 for courier. Most amazing part was my renewed license came the next day.
