Staff was helpful but system is pathetic. Its like a machli bazar there. In one line, they need lots of improvements. They should copy paste the system of Nadra offices here also with numbering system etc. Frequently people with parchis are coming and bypassing long ques. I didnt expect such a system one of the major cities. There is no parking space available outside, traffic police office should have an exemplary parking system i think.

Pathetic is the word. They have mentioned it having "One window operation", but one has to go to several of them. One window at the back. One door of doctor, a window after that for form collection. And after you have to guess and ask them to take your photo. And 2 more windows for the process to complete. All this in a short period of 3.5 hrs. And you will be sweating because there are just bracket fans on few spots. Some fellows forgot the picture part. Nobody guided them and when their forms were completed and ready to submit, they were told they missed the step. But when they returned to the window for that purpose, one of the officers started shouting and behave rudely. I gave them new id card and new address of Rawalpindi but they still printed the old address resulting in my license to be mailed to Wah Cantt (my old city)

I have gone twice to this office within the span of two years, in 2019 for my bike's driver's license and in 2021 for my car's. The experiences were worlds apart, it is unbelievable how much better the system has gotten within 2 years. The staff is now very cooperative and well behaved, now you don't need to go to the gpo for tickets you can pay at the counter, the sitting and waiting areas are very good and well maintained. The first time it took me almost 8 hours for the procedure, now it took less than 90 minutes.

Gone for New license, Need original CNIC and a copy of CNIC, also need Covid certificate. Token issued, then form given and directed for medical form having fee 100. Then got form for driving test, waited for the test and 100 charges given for that. Again token has been issued for submission and need to wait again in Queue. 1100 given for form submission. In total spent 6 hours and 1300 rupees to get my first fresh license.

5/ 5

Extremely impressive service of City Traffic Police Office for Driving License process. New one window operation is pretty swift and hassle free. I was in and out in just 15 minutes. You just need CNIC, old/original driving licence and copy of COVID vaccination certificate for renewal of driving license. Full marks to Rawalpindi CTP office ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
