National Museum karachi

The museum is an excellent place to visit and see Pakistan's culture and heritage and archaeological artifacts. Every person must visit this place, which offers recreation facilities, a Sindhi food restaurant, an open air handicrafts exhibition (on weekends), a big lawn in front and back, an auditorium for functions and ample space for parking.

Great place if you are interested in history. A must visit for school children..... Biggest attraction: Quran Gallery....

A must go for people visiting karachi. Really informative and it houses many intriguing exhibits. An especially treat for schoolgoing kids. A few galleries are being renovated and not as clean but an altogether great place

This is good place for young children to see historical things, have space for seminars, song, theatre and workshop activities and a lot more in the heart of the city.

Worth visiting if you are interested in history, culture, civilizations and archeology. Though the facilities, security and safety of invaluable articles of historical importance are quite inadequate. Proper care, guest entertainment and guidance are almost non existent. The provincial government should take initiatives in upgrading this great center of knowledge and history... especially after the 18th constitutional amendment in the Constitution of Pakistan.

Looks like bhudism history of Pakistan.

In my child hood i visited this place with my school fellows on a school trip. At that time it was just like an outing for me. It was not like educational trip or I got to learn something from the past people left over. But this time I have planned to visit this place again with my children to make them aware and teach them about the people and their culture.

Good range of exhibits although generally quite dated. Could use more information and material to accompany the exhibits. Quran gallery is excellent and most worthy of visit

Nice friendly staff. Decent ambiance. There is some work in progress so not all exhibits are available but various informative and historic exhibits are there for viewing
