After the establishment of Christian Grammar High School in 1856 at Raja Bazar, Rawalpindi, there arose a dire need of college which became the reason for the existence of Gorden College Rawalpindi situated at Liaquat Bagh Road, Rawalpindi. It was established in 1893. Now, this college has a large stadium, tennis court, basketball court, auditorium and a big library. Now it entertains thousands of students every year. Allama Iqbal Open University also organises their semester workshops here. But due to the rapid growth of population and mushroom growth of commercial buildings surrounding it, has made this college a congested place.

Overall college is very good and historical and some teachers are awesome like HOD of IT dept. Sir Saleem Bhatti but not good for BS studies, must be improved with some factors especially affiliation of university

One of the oldest, famous and good government college in Rawalpindi, The history of Gordon College can be traced to 1856 when Christian Grammar High School was established in Raja Bazar near the present campus. The college chapter of the school was opened in 1893 with 14 students as class I. There were six subjects offered at intermediate college: History, Philosophy, Mathematics, English, Persian and Sanskrit.

Historical college and great place for study. The college's gives lot of big name in Pakistani politics and social life. I proud to be a Gordonian. I have great memories from Gordon College. Specially Chemistry professor, they always asked student, whats your name, yesterday what we read? Physics professor sir Ulfat Janjua too great teacher. I learned lot of them. That time stricken against College de nationalisation.

Experienced and qualified professers. Rules and regulations are well and good for co-education.
