Highly dubious and suspect so-called 'mosque', being run by some nefarious sources/organizations. Despite many supposed official 'crack downs' against so many extremist-linked mosques and madrasas, this place is always deliberately ignored/by passed. Why? A serious investigation is warranted.

Al Badar mosque used to be called as a 'good' mosque-- but of late, it has a dubious reputation. It is alleged by many people in Abbottabad that it has some connections with Pakistan's shadowy intelligence agencies and might possibly be a hide-out for some bad characters, now. I think someone should check. But who will guard the guards?

A good mosque, which is associated with the 'Tableeghi' groups that go and preach Islam all over the world. They have some good facilities and welcome visitors from all over, of all creeds, with a view to eventual conversion to al-Islam. They have a non-violent and positive attitude unlike many other mosques and groups, which at present are of a more extremist persuasion.
