This is only a review of the lux auto shop. Now this initiative has made it easier and convenient to buy quality products in one place. Been a customer since the start and have ordered items over time. All genuine items. Why have I rated it low is because of difference of my expectation what makes a great company and a subpar one. Order a few items which included 2 pads. Now packing was not good, items were crushed in the box I received and the pads were bent. I could see the Velcro backing was starting to separate from the pad itself. Was this due to the pads being bent, improper storage or poor quality of the pads I do not know. I tried one pad and as I feared after 2 mins the velcro separated. I contacted them and at least they acknowledged the mistake of packing. I told them the condition of the pads and what happened with one. I was told I could ship back the remaining unused pad for a replacement. This is where I rate them low. These pads cost rs700. After checking it would cost about rs200 to post it back, plus extra costs and time just to get to the courier office. Given that in the past I have ordered items worth thousands of Rs, it is not worth my time and effort just to ship one pad back. Then what about the other pad whose Velcro came off? Is it my fault that the pad was not up to mark? This is where customer service in Pakistan is poor. The customer has to bear the loss. Why do I have to pay for shipping back, shipping was not free when I ordered the items. This is the mindset in Pakistan with many (successful) businesses here. I have seen many companies give excuses that Pakistan is a different market place and we cannot do more etc etc. Only we people make Pakistan different, it is not. Businesses just benefit from the lack of consumer protection laws and implementations. An example I give of overseas where I ordered Wolfgang deep gloss sealant. By mistake the store sent Wolfgang spritz sealant. After contacting them, they did not ask me to return the spritz sealant, instead they send me the correct gloss sealant as no extra cost. It was their mistake and they admitted it and made sure I (as a customer) did not bear any loss or expense. Because of this I still order from them. Some of their items may be a few dollars more than other stores but I am loyal customer because I know their customer service is excellent. This is what I mean when it comes to being a great company or business. Unfortunately in Pakistan almost all businesses are subpar when it comes to customer services, they are clueless what excellence means.
