Railway station at Rawalpindi is quite old and small. Being a junctions and the main Railways station of the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, it has quite a large number of trains serving the area. The parking lot is quite spacious if you visit it early in the morning but gets congested during really rush hours. There is absence of markings in the parking lot; so people can part their vehicles where ever they like. There is also an old coal vintage engine kept in the parking lot for viewing.

When i was first parking my car here I thought to myself, is this place worthy of my car? Is this where I want to leave my not so insured vehicle? What about the parking surface, is it perfectly flat and solid? What if there is a sinkhole? But then again what if there isn’t? What is the meaning of life? Will I ever find true love? What is that guy doing with his nala in the corner? Why am I still looking? Why did he look back into my eyes? WHY IS HE COMING HERE? WHY IS HIS SHALWAR NOT FULLY UP?
