First stop out and last stop in to Multan One of only two maroon buildings from Rawalpindi to Multa

First stop out and last stop in to Multan One of only two maroon buildings from Rawalpindi to Multan. Hopefully it will go white soon. Clean and well maintained . I guess passenger trains make stop here . As did our Mehar Express on its way to Multan. Stay was only a few seconds I guess. Gives you a signal to freshen up before disembarking the train at Multan Station.

Sher Shah Jn (code SSH). The name given to this station is due to famous saint Sher Shah whose tomb is located nearby this station. It is 10 kms from Multan City RS which was const in 1906. Oil Depot is also located here. This Railway Station was constructed in 1 July 1878 and serves as Junction for Karachi-Peshawer Main line (ML1) and Sharshah-Kot Addu Branch Line.
